5th George Gershwin Music Competition - Opening Ceremony

The Opening Ceremony of the 5th George Gershwin International Music Competition, featuring international music talents, VIP Emmy Award Recipient, actress, and philanthropist, Lucia Kaiser, Met Opera Soprano, and youngest Broadway actor, Eli Rahman.

5th George Gershwin Music Competition brings to New York pianists and chamber ensembles from 20 US states and Canada, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Taiwan, South Korea, China, Ukraine, and Japan. They will compete for the top prizes, awarded by a world-class Jury, headlining Cliburn Competition winner, Olga Kern, legendary American pianist Jerome Lowenthal, fantastic recording artist Frederic Chiu, and Martha Argerich duo partner, Pablo Galdo (Spain).
